When I first made this hat I thought I'd make many more like her, because I loved her so much. But not many ostrich plumes curl just perfectly so. And I found two that did, and layered them, and the combination of the gold and mossy green maribou remind me of all the good parts of a sunset in a wheat field. Just fantasy and soft breeze and miles and miles of shivering blades of grass sitting atop a buckram base. I check for feathers with the same quality often. I could probably force it but I love how naturally these feathers wanted to become this hat. She's one of a kind.
Elastic keeps her on. A perfect hat, 10/10, no notes whatsoever. Walked the runway for Monjia.
