The Smith Mod colorway is a homespun classic tartan. The Smith clan originated from iron workers and are recorded as early as 1221. The name Smith comes from the many types of metalworkers in Scotland, including blacksmiths, bladesmiths, goldsmiths, silversmiths, and metalsmiths.
